Unit
The FS40 Phototherapy
Unit is designed to
deliver controlled doses
of ultraviolet energy in
the specific wavelengths
of 280-320 nanometers
(nm) (UVB broadband) and
320-400nm (UVA). The
FS40 Phototherapy Unit
is intended for the home
treatment of certain
skin disorders,
including but not
limited to; Psoriasis,
Vitiligo, Eczema,
Atopic Dermatitis,
Mycosis Fungoides, etc.
as ordinarily prescribed
by a physician.

steel construction for
durability.

Reflector design,
and specular aluminum
construction, maximizes
exposure area and
ultraviolet intensity.

Control Panel
consists of a 10-minute
interval timer and
manual ON/OFF toggle
switch.

Operates on
standard household
current with a standard
three-prong grounded
plug.

Energy efficient
magnetic ballasts help
lower operating costs
while maintaining full
ultraviolet output.

Capable of, but
not limited to,
operating; (4) -
TL40W/12-RS (UVB
broadband) ultraviolet
lamps or (4) - F40T12/BL
(UVA/PUVA) ultraviolet
lamps or combinations as
ordinarily prescribed by
a physician.

Removable lamp
guard helps protect
lamps from accidental
breakage.

Mounting stands,
with casters, help make
the FS40 easy to setup,
move and store.

Wall mounting
option available.

Low weight, only
about 52 pounds (fully
assembled with mounting
stands and lamps).
Units with wall mounting
option weight slightly
less.

Cord wraps (not
shown) provide
convenient storage for
the power cord when not
in use.

Goggles and
information package
provided with each unit.

Installation of
the lamps, fastening the
cord wraps and attaching
either the mounting
stands or wall-mounting
brackets is all that is
needed for set-up.
